The EMS Corporation Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kozhikode, India. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 50,000 people and was built in 1977. It is equipped with floodlights for conducting both football and cricket matches. The stadium is named after the Communist leader E. M. S. Namboodiripad who was the first Chief Minister of Kerala. This stadium holds a unique record of the maximum turnup for a national football league in recent history. This stadium is famous for the football crazy fans of Kozhikode. Famous scissors cup finals, super cup finals, Santhosh Trophy, Sait Nagjee Football Tournament is held here
