Kumaraswamy Temple, Bellary
ABOUT
This 1000 year old temple nestles amidst the hills of Sandur. It consists of basically 2 shrines - Kumaraswamy and Parvati. The entire temple complex is well maintained and has well kept gardens within the complex. The temple priest patiently explained the mythology of the place. Although it is about 100 metres away from the main road, I worry that the heavy mineral laden trucks that thunder by might be weakening the foundations of this hidden gem of a temple.
