LOCATED on the roof of the seven-storey 1Utama Shopping Centre in Bandar Utama, The Secret Garden offers shoppers not only a sanctuary of colourful flowers and plants, but a place for fun and leisure.Occupying about 2,787sqm, it claims to be the largest rooftop garden in South-East Asia, featuring about 500 species of plants.Visitors can expect to see cool-climate plants such as pear, rhododendron, magnolia; accent plants such as century plants and giant aroids; as well as ornamental foliage plants such as begonias and crotons.Several food plants can also be spotted such as rice, pepper, coffee and tea. The unique part of the garden is its fourth dimensional viewing, in which the garden varies with time. Visitors can experience different settings from hour to hour and month to month.
