The beach of Vadanappally is situated 2 kms southwest of Thrissur. Close to the beach, there is the coastal town of Vadanappally. The coast stretches towards Azhikode, which is the southern point of the Thrissur coast. As the beach is not frequented by tourists, it is an ideal place for those who want to find seclusion from the crowd. The beach is marked by the presence of beautiful coral reefs, which makes it special among the beaches of Kerala. It is neatly maintained by the authorities; so, wandering on the beach, swimming or sunbathing would be utterly enjoyable. Boating in the backwater will offer a panoramic view of the vibrant beauty of the land.
