Pertak River is located in the township of Kuala Kubu Bharu, a popular transit point for people coming from KL who are heading towards Fraser Hill and Genting Highlands. The river is popular among visitors who want to experience jungle trekking. To get to the river, you would have to go on 10-km path that takes you through a forest and a few river crossings before reaching the site — from there, visitors also have the option to visit a nearby waterfall.There is also a recreational site in the forest that is popular for school trips, as it allows school children to explore the natural surroundings and learn about the rich flora and fauna that exist in Malaysia’s tropical forest.
