Vasudevapuram Sri krishna Temple of Tavanur is among the most sacred Mahakshetram.This temple is one of three devine temples situvated on the southern banks of the Bharathapuzha.The other two temples are the Maha Shiva and the Brahma temple. The Location is Sree Vasudevapuram Kshethra Samrakshana Trust Tavanur. The main Festivals are Ashtami Rohini August September or the month of Chingam.The Niraputhari or the new rice festival takes place in the month of Chingam and Kuchela Dinam the first Wednesday of the month of Dhanu (December) . Offerings of the temple is Santhanagopala archana,the vasudevarchana,the vidyagopala archana,the Dhanwanthari archana.
