Poovar is a popular tourist village in the Trivandrum district of Kerala state, South India. This village is almost at the southern tip of Trivandrum. This village has a beautiful beach which attracts lots of tourists. Poovar is a good destination as a picnic spot with lush greenery, exotic birds, beach, back waters.The golden beach is very isolated but spectacular beach destination and is a nice place to hangout in morning and evening. Poovar Beach very nice with golden sand, very long and clean ,Only beach in Kerala with sea on one side and river in other side.
