Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, established by Vaidyan C. N. Namboodiri in the year 1933 is an integrated Ayurvedic company dedicated to the sole cause of Ayurveda in its pure and traditional methodologies. The name could carve a niche in the market early on and spread its branches to all corners of the country. As early as in the 1960s, Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala had over 50 branches and more than 100 agencies.It became the first Ayurvedic firm from south India to explore the Delhi market and other major centers in India. This network flourished under his meticulous management and now has full-fledged treatment divisions in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Kannur and Thodupuzha. Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala aims to extend the wealth and wisdom of Ayurveda to the public at affordable cost without compromising its age-old principles. Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, named after Lord Dhanwanthari, the god of Ayurveda, is one of the oldest houses of Ayurveda in Kerala. The firm was born in the brain of late Vaidyan C. N. Namboothiri who established Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala in the year 1933 and pioneered the concept of institutionalizing Ayurvedic medicine marketing and treatment in Kerala. Dhanwanthari presently is an integrated Ayurvedic company with interests in medicine manufacturing, treatment, research and development. The company has a network of 350 sales outlets and full-fledged treatment centers in many locations of Kerala, apart from associates in other states.
