Karikodu Bhagavathy Temple is a centuries-old temple located at Thodupuzha in the Idukki district of Kerala. Goddess Bhadrakali is the controlling deity of this temple. The temple has Shilakannadi installation that is facing towards west. Besides the main idol, the temple has other sub-deities like Ganapathy and Shiva. Daily three poojas are performed in this temple. The structure of the temple is to be more than 460 years old. Pilgrims shall love the beautiful Kerala style architecture of this temple. Visiting this old altar would be a blissful experience for each Hindu pilgrim.The Kumbha Bharani festival of Karikode Bhagavathy Temple is very famous. Thousands of adherent visit this temple every year to participate in this vibrant festival. Located at the Karikkode village, this pilgrim center is very near to the famous Annamalai temple in Idukki. Karikodu Bhagavathy Temple is almost 1.5 kilometers away from Thodupuzha.
