ABOUT
Shri Ayyappa Temple is located at Anachal (15 km from Munnar), is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa. This temple complex is also home to the idol of Lord Ganesh and Nagaraja. The custom conducted in the temple are same as that of the Sabarimala Shri Dharma Sastha Temple. The annual festival for 6 days in Dhanu (December-Januvary) .The main offering of the temple is Neeranjanam, which is done in order to remove the Sani dosham. Mandala Mahotsavam, celebrated here among much pomp and splendor The rituals and faith of the temple attracts a large number of people from far and near.
