Thottada is situated on Kannur-Tellichery highway 8 km away from Kannur Railway station in Kannur District between Kannur town and Thalassery in Kerala state, South India. It is a beautiful beach in Kannur district of Kerala, south India. The virgin beach 800 meter long is ideal for sun bathing. It is another beautiful beach located near the Kannur. This beach has a small river at one end that connects to the sea. The beach is a best place for relaxing under the sun or for a swim. The waves are soft but do exercise caution if you swim too far into the sea. There are some charming homestays and hotels around this beautiful beach, making this almost a private beach for guests.
